GIS Milestone Assignment

 

These four maps were created for the midterm/milestone assessment in class. 

Map one shown in the top right corner is showing the navigable waterways in the Southeast over a georeferenced map from an 1890 map. 

Map two (top left corner) highlights the navigable waterways, and the fall line in the Southeast US. 

Map three (bottom right corner) shows the fall line and the population density along said line in 1890 Southeast US.

Map four (bottom left corner) is illustrating the number of navigable waterways within 20 miles of each Southeast US county.
